The staff was friendly and location was good. Cardiff airport was hardly 50 minutes away by car.
Excellent food, helpful staff. Near to Dowlais Constitutional Club, comfortable room.
The position is good for visiting the Beacons and the valleys. Bed comfortable. Clean and new. Good shower. Friendly staff. Early check-in/late check-out. Wi-fi.
Local situation and outlook is unattractive. Food is cheap (pub prices) but dull.
In a bit of a strange location - but greeted in a warm and friendly manner - the room was lovely with a jacuzzi bath - great value for money
romm clean and everything worked
The helpfulness of the staff at reception and in the restaurant, and the size of the room was slightly above what I was thinking to expect when I first arrived.
I didn't like at all was that the bed was not properly cleaned as I'm quite a cleanliness freak. When it comes to hotel rooms, I think the very basic is to have a bed with changed linen and not see hairs under the cover sheet. The other thing was that they served dinner until 9PM only and also breakfast until 9.30AM (also on Sundays) as well. Location is not great neither but I can only suppose there are not much amenities neither is small villages in Wales so this can be overlooked.
We stayed overnight after a family wedding. The Catering for the wedding was amazing...would certainly recommend it. The Service was also second to none with really friendly Staff. Breakfast in the morning was cooked perfectly and agaon by friendly staff.
Can't think of a single thing that we did not enjoy.
You have got to stay here, staff are wonderful nothing to much trouble for them. the carvery is the best i`ve had great value, the chef carving is great, Ellen Kayleigh and kev are so helpful, and linda the house keeper cant do enough for you, paul is nice too. the manageress is very helpfull too. will be staying again soon when i come to my friends wedding. can`t wait
We booked this Hotel because of the thumbs up sign on the website and was certainly not dissapointed from the cleanlyness of the rooms to the friendly staff and the wonderfull food.nothing was to much and our stay was a pleasure would have no mproblem recommending this hotel to others.
Nothing was wrong was more than we expected.
clean and tidy and welcome service very friendly
the food was very basic and push buzzer for service not what i expected also in middle of housing estate said views of breacon beacons, only with binoculars and rough area with massive metal gates not welcoming
Good value, pleasant room, helpful staff. Mobile reception & internet available unlike many other local hotels
Floorboard noise from adjacent rooms is excessive; pillows are hard and lumpy
Our stay at the bessemer was once again lovely the staff are lovely people and their service is wonderfull , the food was the best I have ever tasted and well worth the price , we have stayed there on quite a few occasions , and i,m sure we will be seeing them again soon ,just perfect well done to all the staff they really do an excellent job well done
Nice clean & comfortable room, good TV
very limited range of menu if you don't want to eat a huge meat based meal!
The rooms were large and had all the facilities of a much more expensive hotel. It is modern, clean and handily located for the town
Floor boards were a bit squeeky
This was without doubt one of the best hotels i've stayed at for a long time, the room was fresh and clean, the hotel staff was faboulous and friendly, the food was awesome, the breakfast included in the room rate was 1st class, the bar prices were excellent, the whole hotel was great and i would def love to stay here again, i will also be recommending this hotel to family and friends.........
The only thing i didnt like was the fact that we were only staying here for one night, def book longer next time.....
